Volunteer

Come see the Difference a Day Can Make!

Each year more and more people of all ages sign up to volunteer as the word has been spread throughout Lincoln County about how rewarding this type of charitable work can be.

No special skills are needed to become a volunteer. In addition to the skilled jobs, there is plenty of work to be done painting, yard clean-up, serving as a helper to one of the skilled contractors, plus a myriad of other tasks. It is simply exciting at the end of the day to know that you have made a huge impact on the lives of so many of our neighbors.

We are also looking for volunteer House Captains. This is the person who acts as the supervisor for an assigned house assessing the needs of the homeowner, determining whether or not we have the talent and funds to do the work, and purchasing the necessary materials.

Also helpful are the volunteers who volunteer to make lunches, help with fundraising, and serve on a committee.

Volunteers are asked to please sign-up as early as possible in the month of April, as the Operations Committee needs ample time to make house assignments and to be sure the needed skills are scheduled in advance.
